Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules; insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals.

Perform month end closing procedures, including the preparation of month end work papers, bank account

reconciliations, general journal entries, financial statements, and analytical variance analysis.

Prepare and update annual proforma schedules.

Assist with year-end audit and tax reporting.

Assist with preparation of 1099’s.

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors of Accounting

3-5 years of public accounting experience

SEC experience is a plus

Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Strong analytical and accounting skills

Detailed oriented

Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

Physical requirements

Able to lift up to 50lbs periodically.
