Utility Truck Driver

Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures and participate in regular periodic Environmental, Health, and Safety training.

Load and unload trailers at designated locations.

Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.

Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.


High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail

Physical requirements

Able to climb ladders and stairs, stand, walk, and lift up to 100lbs.

At times, exposed to inclement weather including hot and cold temperatures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision and depth perception.
