Marquis Energy is proud to award five local students with college scholarships totaling $12,500.
Congratulations to: Lilah Bobinski of Magnolia, Connor Erbsen of Lanark, Tess Kopp of Wyanet, Matthew Webber of Sparland and Cole Wright of Bradford.
These talented individuals live within a 90-mile radius of our facility and impressed us with their strong applications and life pursuits.
“We enjoyed getting to know each applicant through their essays,” says Mark Marquis, CEO of Marquis Energy. “We appreciate the over 150 students who shared information about how their passion will change the world and how they believe biofuels plays an important role in our nation’s independence and air quality.”
The $2,500 scholarship money will be sent to the students’ declared college before the fall semester and will be credited towards the 2018-2019 school year.
